     Timor Limousin Stud was born in 1975 with the aim of producing the carcase required by the modern butcher.  Prices achieved then at auction secured the  future of the stud.  Local butchers would not let outsiders buy the steers.  They immediately recognised the increased dressing out and bone out percentages as a bonus.

Quality eating and the lean meat required in the modern household secured Timor Limousins up to a 50% premium in the sale yards at the time!

              LOCATION :-- 32 Km north of  Gunnedah Town Hall. 

   From shopping street Clock Tower and roundabout, drive north over the Namoi River  iron bridge on the Barraba Road, pass through the village of Kelvin and 2 km after the bitumen ends, turn right into the lane marked "Bridges Rd.". 2 1/2 km on the left is the "Womboyne" grid for TIMOR LIMOUSINS.

From Manilla or Barraba or Boggabri, find the common crossroads to Gunnedah called 'The Four Ways" and 9 km towards Gunnedah on the left is the lane marked "Bridges Rd.", up which 2 1/2 km on the left is the "Womboyne" grid for TIMOR LIMOUSINS.
